Urban design can play a crucial role in the success of industrial development proposals. A notable example is the recent victory by Kennards Self Storage in Land and Environment Court. In close collaboration with the client and design architect, beneficial modifications were made to the design concerning landscaping, setbacks, building height and facades, allowing the approval for what will be a significantly expanded facility in Miranda’s industrial valley.
