Tips for Success at the Land and Environment Court - Case Study 3

In a recent positive development at Land and Environment Court (LEC), Dickson Rothschild were part of the team that successfully secured approval for a seniors housing initiative of 22 independent living units spread across three buildings in Oxford Falls.

Our exceptional Urban Designers collaborated closely with the Design Architect Marchese, Tim Robertson SC and others to address the objections around remaining sensitive to local concerns and meeting complex bushfire and fire protection needs.

The buildings are designed to be low in intensity and modest in scale. Dickson Rothschild advised on design and prepared photomontages to show amongst other things the low impact character of the design on local surrounds.

The Court’s approval underscores the importance of thoughtful design and clear communication in effectively navigating complex regulatory frameworks, ultimately benefiting all parties involved.
